Burma to the Beach was awesome!! My husband and I did the full day Burma to Beach tour with Gae (guide) and Nan (driver/mechanic). There’s no better way to see the countryside! The border market is really interesting, you get to cycle through villages where few foreigners go, and once you reach the beach it’s postcard vistas all the way.
A highlight was feeding the lovely dusky langur monkeys!
Food was great – fresh fruit and peanut candy on rest breaks, and a fabulous hearty lunch by the sea.
We finished at a stunning temple where Gae shared some insights into Buddhism. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire day and can’t recommend this tour highly enough.
