While June 3rd is World Bicycle Day, the entire month is a great time to ride a bicycle in Thailand and most of the Northern Hemisphere.

June 6th-16th – 2024 Tour de Thailand – Northeastern Ride

Starting this week, ACT will be operating our “TDT – NE” from Nong Khai to Ubon Ratchathani along the banks of the Mighty Mekong River with majestic views into Laos.
|
|
|
|
|
This will be an unforgettable journey in Thailand’s northeastern region as our route intertwines with the river’s flow through a tapestry of landscapes, cultures, and experiences.

We thought it might be fun each newsletter to share with you one of the “interesting” signs we see on our many tours throughout Thailand:

This sign is posted in Prachuap Khiri Khan on the Wing 5 Air Force Base where the Dusky Langur leaf monkeys are protected. We actually refer to them as the "Polite Monkeys" as they are usually so sweet and gentle. However, they are wild animals and may have their moments.

ACT will once again have our Bicycle Flea Market at our Hua Hin Bike Tours Office.
|
|
We will have New & Used items for sale ranging from complete bicycles, road bike and mountain bike wheel sets, parts & accessories, jerseys, and more from 10am to 4pm. If you have something to sell or trade bring it buy and we’ll see what we can do to help. If you are out on a bicycle ride stop by and fill up your water bottles for free just for saying “Hi”.

October 13th-20th “Ride to Rescue Thailand” – Pattaya to Koh Chang
|
|
Destiny Rescue Thailand is organizing an amazing charity bicycle ride this October from Pattaya to the island paradise of Koh Chang. ACT is honored to be operating this ride and can’t wait to share this amazing and life-changing journey with other like-minded people.

November 12th-24th Kanchanaburi to Chumphon Bicycle Adventure Tour
|
This tour is being organized for a group of men who are Hash House Harrier Members - “A Drinking Club with a Running Problem”. If you are a H3 Member or if this kind of bicycle adventure tour/piss-up appeals to you let us know and maybe we can invite you to join us. Applicants must have a sick & silly sense of humor, be able to ride a bicycle, and willing to consume mass quantities of beer afterwards.
